From binders to one platform.
Nordic construction companies run on strict health, safety and environment rules, and most of them were meeting those rules with paper binders, spreadsheets and a patchwork of tools, on sites where half the crew doesn’t speak Norwegian. Replace all of it with one platform people actually use.
Paper binders don’t survive a building site. We replaced them with one platform every worker can use, in their own language.
Risk assessments, signed safety handbooks, incident records, checklists, training and logged hours: Nordic HSE rules ask a lot of construction companies, and most were keeping it all in binders and spreadsheets. On Norwegian sites, many of the people who have to read and sign those documents speak Polish, Lithuanian or Ukrainian.
We designed and shipped NordHMS as one multi-company platform, built around roles. Managers get the full toolkit; workers get a stripped-back view with only their own tasks, read-only projects and their own reports. Five languages run through everything, down to the generated PDFs, and we built it in small, fast steps, shipping around 1,770 changes so every module was shaped by real use.
